Tom is co-founder and managing partner of Kepsfield. Operating at the intersection where strategy meets finance runs like a common thread throughout his career. He started working for a large financial institution in the Netherlands, followed by a stint at a large consulting firm. In his final role before co-founding Kepsfield, he built up extensive experience in the Telecommunications industry while heading an internal team of strategy consultants at the largest Telco in the Netherlands.
Sparked by his Telco experience, Tom has a keen interest in technology and
innovation. He had a leading roll in the roll-out of the first Internet of
Things network in the Netherlands, worked on network and IT rationalizations and
the frequency auctions.
Tom has broad experience in advising investment companies, family businesses and
government agencies on topics including financial due diligence, valuation,
corporate restructuring, financing, complex financial modelling and M&A. He
loves to work with the client to create a strategy which enables the company to
reach is full potential. He is an expert in communicating strategy and finance
through "financial storytelling" which involves qualitative and quantitative
facets to create a clear picture for all stakeholders.
Tom applies active listening and communication to engage team members to achieve
the best results.
Jeroen is co-founder and managing partner of Kepsfield. He has extensive
experience as a financial strategic consultant.
Jeroen started his career as an M&A advisor to investment companies and
corporates on wide range of transactions in various industries. He worked for a
large investment bank and a ‘big-four’ accounting firm before moving to a listed
Telecommunications company as an internal strategy consultant. In his final role
before co-founding Kepsfield, he acted as senior advisor to the CEO of the
largest Telco in the Netherlands.
Typical topics Jeroen has experience on in include financial- and commercial due
diligence, valuations, restructuring, strategy development and complex financial
modelling. Furthermore, Jeroen has extensive Telco experience and worked on a
wide range of high impact (>1bn ) projects including developing mobile- and
fixed network roll-out strategies, frequency auctions and pricing strategy.
Jeroen loves technological innovation and believes that having the best
execution is what matters most. A razor-sharp strategy and a clear financial
